REGULATION - XIV PACIFIC COAST MARATHON 2013

DEAR RUNNER:
Please read this policy carefully, for your safety and knowledge, and obey it to enjoy the competition.
ARTICLE 1º
The time and place of initiation and their respective route and starting points is as follows:

42 Kms: 07:30 am, Rungue Site, traveling south on the waterfront (Av Borgoño), by Concon along the waterfront until reaching Site 3 at Reñaca , location of the arrival point .

21 Kms: 07:30 am, The straight before Santa Julia bridge: The sector after St. Julia Bridge, traveling south on the waterfront (Av Borgoño), passing by Concon along the waterfront until reaching Site 3 at Reñaca, location of the arrival point.

10 Kms: 07:30 am, Concon roundabout; Copec Site, traveling south on the waterfront (Av Borgoño) reaching Site 3 at Reñaca, location of the arrival point..

ARTICLE 2º

ARTICLE 3º
The withdrawal of the official number of competition and formal technical shirt for the general public will be held on Saturday November 30, 2013, from 10 to 19 in The Conference Town Reñaca, Hotel, Spa & Convention Center, Double Almeyda 80 - Reñaca high - Viña del Mar.
Where should be submitted as applicable:

If you withdraw your own kit:
- You must bring the payment slip.
- You must bring your identity card.

IF ANOTHER PERSON WITHDRAW YOUR KIT:
- He/she must bring the payment slip.

- Must bring a simple authorization signed by the participant.

ARTÍCLE 4º
Buses (for participants of the 10K, 21 K and 42 K (who hired the service) will depart from the parking lots in front of the Burger King REÑACA at the goal sector and will leave the runners in each starting point. The departure of the buses will be from 5:30 to 5:55 a.m.

ARTÍCLE 5º
Competitors driving their own vehicles should arrive one hour before to their respective starting point and park their vehicles more than 500 meters away from the starting point in order to avoid traffic jams. There are non authorized parking places in every starting so it is very important to follow the previous statement for the good development of the activity..

ARTÍCLE 6º
The CHIP delivered by the organization to the 10K, 21K and 42 K competitors, is disposable and should not be returned afterwards..

ARTÍCLE 7º
The competition number must be fully extended on the chest of the participant, you can´t cut it or bend it. Violating this requirement shall be grounds for automatic disqualification of the participant, with no right to any claim and / or subsequent awards.

ARTÍCLE 8º
If you want to leave your bag on the bus that transported you to the departure, you must write the competitors number in the bag´s designated area. To withdraw your bag after the competition you must show your race number in the wardrobe tent. Do not leave valuables in the bags, because the organization is not responsible for items over $ 3,000. - (Three thousand dollars) left in them.

ARTÍCLE 9º

ARTÍCLE 10º

Drink water and re-hydrate during the competition. There are supply stations every 5 kilometers.

ARTÍCLE 12º
During the competition the runners should only run on the right berm. Failure to comply with this provision means immediate disqualification of the participant, without further appeal. Accompaniment in any vehicle during competition is prohibited.

ARTÍCLE 13º
Crossing the finish keep walking, not returned, in the case of marathoners (42K) half marathoners (21 K) and 10K participants, the finalist medal will be given 15 meters from the finishing line.

ARTÍCLE 14º

42 K MARATHON GENERAL AWARDS
Women and Men

Awards by MICP categories: The top one of each category will be awarded with cups and the 2nd and 3 rd places with medals.
Prizes are not cumulative, so athletes who recorded the three fastest times of the competition will get the general award being automatically out of the age categories

21K HALF MARATHON GENERAL AWARDS

2nd $ 50,000. -
3rd $ 30,000. -

ARTÍCLE 17º
10K RACE GENERAL AWARDS
Women and Men
1st $ 100,000. -
2nd $ 40,000. -
3rd $ 20,000. -
Awards by MICP categories: The 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category will be awarded with medals.

ARTÍCLE 18º
All awards will be presented at the awards ceremony at 13:00 in the Site 3 at Reñaca. The runners who are not present at the award site will have no chance to claim their prize later.

ARTÍCLE 19º
If you want to switch the category you must do it before the enrollment closing. In that case you must pay the difference to the current value and report it to .

ARTÍCLE 20º

Registration is not refundable or transferable to another person. Impersonating anyone registered shall be liable to disqualification from future competitions in Olimpo Productions.
